  • DMCH Students' Union Commemorates World AIDS Day with Awareness Activities December 1, 2024 On December 1, 2024, the Students' Union of Dhubri Medical College & Hospital (DMCH) organized a series of impactful events to mark World AIDS Day. The activities aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, promote prevention strategies, and foster community engagement. Key Activities Blood Donation Camp: Students and staff actively participated in a blood donation drive, highlighting the importance of safe blood practices and supporting those in need. Poster Making Competition: A creative platform allowed students to design informative posters, emphasizing HIV prevention, transmission, and the significance of regular testing. Walkathon: A walkathon was conducted to symbolize solidarity with individuals living with HIV/AIDS and to spread awareness throughout the community. Street Play: Students performed a compelling street play to educate the public on HIV transmission, dispel myths, and encourage compassion toward those affected.
